Doomsday Clock

Q- What is the Doomsday Clock?
Originally, the so-called Doomsday Clock was not really a clock at all.  It was a position statement made by the Board of Atomic Scientists after World War II.  They recognized that the possibility of the nuclear annihilation of the planet’s population was real.  And since then the Board of Atomic Scientists through it’s Magazine “The Bulletin” has been moving the hands of the Doomsday Clock closer to or farther from midnight… based on a wide variety of factors involving the geo-political status of the planet.

It’s now 5 minutes to midnight… Click here to see how the clock was moved recently due to Global Warming.
